Clean up the sh*t
My first job was working on a lunch counter in my home town. I worked for this little Italian guy that was forever barking out ridiculous orders. My job was to take the orders, cook the food, serve the food and cash out the customers. We had all kinds of people come in - from street people to rich mama's with their boy toys.
One time this homeless person came in and ordered a chocolate donut. So, I gave it to her and she paid for it. The counter was really busy and I was by myself. I had about 7 different orders going on the fryer at the time. When the women left I noticed that she had SHIT HER PANTS! My boss saw it and in front of everyone ordered me to clean the shit up off the seat that she'd been in.
I argued with him and said that someone else should do it because it wasn't sanitary for me to be cleaning up the shit and cooking food. He yelled that if I wanted to keep my job I would clean it up and get back to work. So I did. 4 people left without waiting for their food and without paying. The other 3 paid, but didn't eat.
What an idiot!
I hope you don't work there no more, I'd quit that position immediately. It's not sanitary and your customers saw that. Get out while you can.
