What others think
Closing your door just confirms our suspicions.
Boss comes into work, goes into his office without a hello, closes the door and locks himself inside (!), cackles occasionally, making no other noise. A quick dash out to the driveway to peek into the window finds him on the sports site of a major newspaper. Binoculars confirm it: turns out he's been listening to hours of football podcasts while he's supposed to be available...open door policy and transparency and all that.
It was nice to watch him squirm, then, when we had our mid-term interview, and professed to "have never heard of" all the problems I reported to him as reasons for announcing my intention to not renew my contract *six months* before it expired. When I asked him why he didn't know, he said that "no one had told" him! Imagine that!
Wow, dashing outside to peek in his window? Using binoculars on him? I'm just grateful you're not my neighbour. ;)
Get a life.
Your boss has to answer to his boss, not you.
You are not in charge, stop acting like you are.
LOL
You got ratted out smartass.
