"Family Guy"

My ex-boss (I was the one who left) was sensitive to family issues, but only when it pertained to HIS family. He was always taking off when his family had some trivial milepost but I was threatened when I took off certified time to travel 400 miles to my brother's funeral and asked for more time off when my mother had a heart attack the day after the funeral. Mr. Sensitive told me there was nothing I could do for her, so I should start driving as soon as possible. I called the VP and he gave me permission to stay by my mother's side.

Mr. Sensitive used to get calls all day from his stay-at-home wife and 5 kids. The worst part was that he put them on his SPEAKER-PHONE! Not only did we have to hear the conversations firsthand, but had to listen to him brag about his family all of the time. But, if we mentioned our family, he would tell us that we have to "leave them at the back door" and get back to work.

His famous line was "fake it till you make it" and he enlisted other young, egotistical people to worship him. Mr. ARH and his brat-pack finally got fired for their incompetency after they helped build cases against the older, competent workers and management figured out that they were all hot air. Oh my how the mighty have fallen. I sometimes wonder where you, TB, DDD, and CR are and hope the flames of hell are licking all of your asses.
