None of the boss types you have fit this post. You need either "the clueless" or "the lucky".

I was a senior manager working in a remote location from the main office. After 5 years or so MGT finally convinced me to relocate my two teenagers to our offices in Florida. I moved, and we were hit by four hurricanes in <6 months. In 6 months in Florida we spent over a month without power (and it seemed like another mont waiting in line for gas!).

Two months later the company lets me go, along with 80% of my 50 or so employees.
