No leadership qualities
I am working for this lady, who doesn't have any leadership qualities. Every Monday, we'd have a team meeting and everytime she used to come late and give execuses, then for half an hour she used to talk about her own story about her kids and it would drain up the entire energy. Then for the last ten minutes, she would hurry up saying that it's getting late and that she has an immediate meeting.
She would support the project leader, saying that they had done a great job and would not give credit for the team members, but when there would be a problem, she used to blame the team members.
She used to spit while talking. So nobody would sit in front of her. Everybody used to find a seat far off... sometimes she wore a shabby dress, I better not comment on those things..
She would to client meetings and get a project, but never got any requirements but would commit on a timeline.. You work so hard to finish the project by working day and night. When the project goes successful, no appreciation. Her comments would be "you did what you are supposed to do".
She would do a lot of politics to maintain her job, would talk to the team memebers so nice about them and says so bad about the PL. I guess she would also talk to PL and say bad about team members. Her policy is "Divide and Rule". Having said this team is hell to work with. I am trying to get a release from this project for a quite some time.
It is better ignoring such useless officials since they neither do successful work nor allow others to do so. Getting rid of such executives is the headache of the management and if the management still give free hand to them it is their impotance.

The previous poster is a jerk and is probably a jerk boss.
I have been working in a very difficult work environment. Where EVERYTHING a person does wrong no matter how tiny the error goes on employees personal file. And then management think they have the right to treat employees like dirt! What’s up with that?!
